The meanest Jeep Grand Cherokee in the world

Jeep is the company that introduced the first 4×4 off road vehicle to the world. Since then, however their vehicles have been both hated and loved. I personally adore all their cars, simply because they have this rigid look that every 4×4 must have. One thing is sure, Jeep cars are not for sissies. The latest generation of their flagship model the Grand Cherokee promises to be the best car they have ever made. And to some extend I think that this is true. The big SUV look simply amazing, it has great engines, solid mechanics and really nice interior. However, we all know that it can always be better. The top of the line factory version of the Cherokee has a massive 6.4 litre HEMI V8 engine, which delivers 465bhp and can accelerate this heavy vehicle from 0 to 60nph for less than 5 seconds. The top speed is 155mph. Yes this sounds impressive right, but how about 805bhp? Interested? Yes this is not a joke; there is actually a 805bhb Jeep.

The company behind it is the famous Hennessey Performance or HPE. The Yankees thought that 465bhp is embarrassingly low and such a vehicle deserves a bit more grunt. So they have installed two huge turbocharges, modified the ECU and probably a whole lot more and the end result is beyond believe- 805bhp, acceleration from 0 to 60mph for less than 3.1 seconds. This rocket can cover ¼ mile for 10.9 sec. with top speed of 130mph. Of course such power requires some taming. The suspension has been heavily modified, the brakes are from Brembo, additional aerodynamic elements have been installed, wider tyres and bigger rims guarantee traction and stability. The interior has also been modified, everything is covered in leather. Seriously, this is one mean machine. It is so powerful and stable that you can comfortably toll a huge equine trailer without worrying that something can go wrong, so you can at least save some money from your equine insurance policy. And you are going to need every pence as this monster has a starting price of 150 000 pounds.
