Hyundai Genesis coupe GT
Let’s see what we know about Hyundai. They come from Korea and so far they have proven to make pretty reliable, yet main stream cars. Their superb warranty and high build quality is really something though. However, in recent years Hyundai changed their strategy. Now they offer a wide range of beautiful, well equipped cars and even the quality has gone up. They even have a top limousine which, if I remember correctly, was directly compared to the new Bentley Mulsanbe, well this explains it all, doesn’t it.
Anyway, we want to discuss something really special, the limited series of their latest coupe, the Genesis – cool name for a car right? The sports car is inspired by the racing Genesis coupe which took part in the famous 24 hours of Le Mans race. The automobile is painted in bright silver with some shocking blue stripes. Honestly, the car looks a bit geeky with those stripes, like some computer genius took a small break from designing online recruitment software, or whatever software is in demand these days, and painted this car for less than five minutes using Photoshop. Anyway, this two door Hyundai has a powerful 3.6 litre V6 petrol engine which delivers 303bhp and 361Nm of torque. This special edition of the Genesis accelerates from 0 to 60 mph for around 6.3 seconds, which is not that impressive but still quite good. The top speed is 150mph. There is only one small problem, only 50 such cars will ever be made, petty.
