Brabus 800 E V12 Cabriolet
When it comes to mind-blowing power, aggressive looks and red leather, Brabus sets the ground rules. For those of you who are not quite familiar with Brabus, let’s just say that they are a company that not just improves Mercedes Benz cars but turns the into road eating monsters. Their latest creation is based on the E-class convertible. At first glance the E-class is one luxury, open top limousine which allows four people to travel great distances in sublime comfort. However, after spending quite some time in the Brabus lab the end result is…, well a bit different. Let’s start with the engine. It is the familiar 6.3 litre V12 with 800bhp and so much torque that it had to be electronically limited to “only” 1100Nm, 1420Nm without the limiter! All these numbers sound impressive right? Yes, sure they do. But more impressive is that this 800 E V12 Cabriolet is in fact the fastest four-seater convertible on the planet. Not only that but it also puts to shame most supercars. With 0 to 60mph acceleration time of only 3.7 seconds this monster is something of its own. Better still; the acceleration form 0 to a 124 mph comes in under 10 seconds which is what it usually takes those 4×4 cars to reach 60. The top speed of the E V12 Cabriolet is 229mph, no need to comment on that, I think. But let’s mention the design of the car. The exterior has received some major aerodynamic improvements and the interior is covered in soft red leather. Such a beauty to look at.
