F1
It is no doubt that F1 is the fastest 4 wheel customized vehicle event. It it worlds most watched motorsport with over half a billion viewers. Each car is made from scratch that includes chassis, engine, gearbox, body, aero package, tyres (not made by teams but specially made for F1), brakes all the way to minute details like steering wheels, to rear spoiler to front wing, to side pods, to the exhausts and vents. All this combined brings in one very complicated but one very quick vehicle on four wheels.
The F1 car is designed in way that it performs the opposite of how a wing works. While for a plane, the wing is designed to push high pressure below and low pressure above, the F1 car works the other way around. High pressure is channeled above and low pressure downwards. This in turn makes the car stick to the ground enabling it to grip on the track at high speeds. Turn the same vehicle design upside down and plant some wings, you effectively have a aircraft.
To kill any skepticism on the sport, some think its a fairly boring sport compared to the other types of sports other there, but then if one compared apples to oranges, it like comparing golf to the drag racing. It makes no sense, you could although compare WRC to Daka racing or DTM to Nascar or British Touring Car championship, that would make a more feasible comparison. Even though something like used cars in lebanon don’t get much of any racing action, it doesn’t matter, as like as it has a chassis, 4 wheels, an engine and a driver, my love for motorsport reaches all corners.
